Nestled inside Beaver Dam Country Club, The 1966 Bar & Restaurant pays tribute to the year our club was founded. Under new ownership since April, we’re bringing fresh energy to this community favorite.
For the first time in years, we’re open all winter! Our restaurant is open for dinner on Wednesdays and Fridays, plus Sunday Brunch starting February 9. We also host special events throughout the season. Our new chef has crafted a menu featuring comforting classics and seasonal specialties, including our beloved Friday Fish Fry.
Wednesdays 4:30 - 8:00 pm
Fridays: 4:30 - 9:00 pm
Sundays: Brunch from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

While the golf course is closed for the season, The 1966 Bar & Restaurant is the perfect place to gather with friends, enjoy great food, and take part in our fun winter events.

Enjoy a cozy sit-down brunch in The 1966 Bar & Restaurant (located upstairs at the south entrance), where you can order delicious dishes straight off the menu. Perfect for a relaxed Sunday morning with great food and great company!
Friday Fish Fry!
We will be serving 4:30pm - 9pm every Friday! Choose from:
- Deep Fried Haddock
- Pike Perch Dinner
- Shrimp Dinner
- Norwegian Salmon
Served with a choice of House Fries or German Potato Salad, Coleslaw & Honey Wheat Bread.
